My Approach

How I Support Your Growth

Courage Creates Growth – Maggie Pryce

I offer a range of services, including clinical supervision, mentoring, coaching, and professional development, all shaped around what you need and where you’re headed.

As a qualified and registered social worker with a current SWRB Practising Certificate, I bring a commitment to their Code of Conduct and Core Competence Standards into everything I do. I’m also a proud member of ANZASW, which means I follow their Code of Ethics and Supervision Policy. Alongside that, I hold postgraduate qualifications in supervision, mentoring, business management, and leadership.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in the social welfare sector, I’ve had the privilege of guiding and supervising teams in various settings. I’ve worked in New Zealand since 2007, where I’ve developed my practice in a bi-cultural framework, working respectfully within a Kaupapa Māori context. My experience extends to faith-based environments, and I’m happy to incorporate faith and spirituality into our sessions if that feels important to you.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with some of the most vulnerable members of our society, helping them find safety from harm, abuse, and trauma, and supporting their journey to recovery and well-being. I know firsthand how challenging and stressful this type of work can be, and I’ve seen the crucial need for support and safeguarding for those who dedicate their lives to helping others. That’s why, when we work together, your well-being and life balance will be at the heart of every session.

Whether we meet in person or online, my goal is to provide you with a space to reflect, grow, and develop as you continue your journey through life and work.
